This article aims to analyze the perception of professionals from the municipal education system of Goiânia regarding the Pilares Program, implemented in 2018 through a partnership between the General Court of Justice of the State of Goiás and the Municipal Department of Education, as a public policy initiative inspired by Restorative Justice. Specifically, the study seeks to describe the creation and implementation of the program, assess the results achieved in preventing and transforming school conflicts, and identify the main challenges for its consolidation. A qualitative-quantitative methodology was adopted, combining multiple correspondence technique and the analysis of professionals’ testimonies involved in the program. The findings indicate that most participants recognize the positive impact of the initiative on reducing conflicts, improving school climate, and strengthening relationships between students, teachers, and the broader community. The results contribute to the debate on participatory school management and point to ways of consolidating restorative practices as effective strategies for addressing school violence and promoting a culture of peace.
