Four categories were identified that represent the perception regarding job satisfaction: The satisfactory relationship between teacher and student and visualization of the work product; Teaching involvement in teaching, research and extension activities; Administrative procedures and meetings as synonyms for job dissatisfaction; Problems in interpersonal relationships. It was observed that teachers who occupy management positions feel satisfied with teaching and guiding students, as well as participating in research and extension activities, and dissatisfaction is generated by bureaucratic activities and problematic interpersonal relationships.
